The content of the videos ranges from the most complex Math skills in bright step-by-step blackboard-style explanations to Humanities subjects, Finance and Economics, Science, and Test Prep for the SAT, GMAT and more. There is also a section called ‘Talks and Interviews’ that contains the TED talks and other conference appearances that made Salman Khan so famous.

Almost all of the videos in the Khan Academy except the ‘Talks and Interviews’ have subtitles that allow you to both read what Khan is saying during his explanation, and to fast forward or go back to the exact point you’d like. Visually, this app keeps it really simple. There are few design elements to distract you from the content, and the layout is simple and easy to navigate.
